Keoghs Cafe Dublin City – Ireland Restaurant Review – photos and video look around Keogh’s café, menu and full Irish breakfast food.
Keoghs Cafe Dublin Review
I’ve walked past Keoghs Cafe Dublin countless times over the 6 years that I’ve called Ireland home, and there’s always a queue out of the door.
So, on a recent, quiet Tuesday, I decided to head into Dublin to finally try out Keogh’s Cafe for myself.
As predicted, there was a queue that I joined and patiently waited for my turn. I opted to sit inside to soak up the fantastic atmosphere and much hyped about good food.
While waiting for my a table, I caught sight of their delicious scones, in particular the raspberry scones, which were being snapped up by the bag full.
You can grab a quick bite, scone with jam and fresh cream or a good quality meal, all served by friendly staff.
I was there for breakfast and couldn’t resist the full breakfast for €13.50 which included a free range egg, portobello mushroom, Galway sausage, bacon, West Cork black and white pudding and tomato, served with sourdough toast and Irish butter.
For breakfast there’s also a mini breakfast, vegetarian breakfast, porridge, omelette, pancakes or a breakfast bap. (Follow them on social media to be kept up to date with new menu items and special offers.)
Each breakfast element was cooked to perfection, being flavorful and hot on arrival, which can be difficult to achieve when there are so many items included in an Irish breakfast.
I can absolutely understand why the restaurant is always busy, and look forward to visiting again soon to try more menu items.
