Martello Bray Restaurant Review – photos and video of the menu, brunch and the hotel in County Wicklow Ireland.
Martello Bray Restaurant Review
I visited Martello Bray on a busy Saturday morning, with diners there to enjoy a tasty brunch before exploring all that the seaside town has to offer.
The lively Martello Hotel also has hotel rooms and self-catering apartments, so you can extend your stay and make the most of the picturesque seafront. Be sure to follow them on social media, so you can be kept up to date with special offers and live music events.
The restaurant is located opposite the Bray beach promenade, making it a handy spot to dine when you’re in Bray. It’s also a short 10-minute walk from the Bray Daly rail station, where you can arrive by DART from Dublin City Centre.
Here’s a map to help you find your way to the Martello Hotel Bray:
There are a number of dining rooms located on the hotel grounds, open at different times of the day with menus for everything from breakfast and lunch to dinner and cocktails that you can slowly savour while taking in views of the Irish Sea.
I was there for brunch, so had to make the tough choice of selecting an item from their tempting breakfast menu. (Which you can see in full in the video down below.)
My choice was the Ham Hock Eggs Benedict which consisted of a toasted Ciabatta topped with a generous portion of maple glazed shredded ham hock, a creamy Hollandaise sauce and perfectly poached organic eggs.
