Featherblade Dublin Review – Dawson Street Steakhouse Restaurant – a look at the steak, burgers and sides – with photos and video.
Featherblade Dublin
Featherblade Dublin is one of our absolute favourite restaurants, and one that I suggest to visitors to Dublin as a must try.
We’ve visited many times over the years and find that the quality of meat is always consistently exceptional.
The restaurant is located on Dawson Street, probably my favourite street in Dublin, it’s a convenient spot located near Grafton Street, Trinity College and St. Stephen’s Green and you can find almost every cuisine packed along the street. Here’s the map to help you find your way to the restaurant at 51 b Dawson St.
The menu includes a choice of juicy steaks, burger and side dishes that are all offered at an affordable price considering the location and quality of ingredients. You can choose from a set menu, or picking a couple of mains and sides to share.
Being a steak restaurant, you can expect a really good steak that’s cooked to perfection. We’ve enjoyed ours in the past with a simple side of salad leaves that balanced the flavorful steak perfectly.
The past couple of visits we’ve devoured their house burger with a selection of mouthwatering sides including creamed spinach, beef dripping chips and truffle mac and cheese.
The house burger is one of the best in Dublin, the charred burger pattie is enrobed with aged cheddar and smoked bacon that I can never get enough of.
I still dream about the super cheesy truffled mac and cheese that’s gooey, creamy and bursting with strong truffle flavors.
